Guest guest
Dear Mr. Derrick, BSA Health System EMS requires it's Paramedics to have ACLS, PALS, PHTLS, & NRP (Neo-Natal resuscitation). ACLS and PALS are offered monthly as well as NRP, PHTLS is offered annually. We strongly encourage all of our Paramedics to be Nationally Registered. BSA Health System pays for the course as well as all materials for the course. BSA also pays for the paramedics that are instructors, but BSA will not pay for employees to attend the course unless the employee misses a partial shift because of the course. All BSA Paramedics must also complete an invasive procedures lab using cadavers for central lines, retrograde intubations, crico's ect. on an annual basis in which BSA pays for.
