Guest guest
I am happy if it worked for you. Did you get any bad infections? I am never sick and I really don't need to take anything that makes me sick. What about nausea, diarrhea or vomiting. I have heard it can cause those bad. My poor stomach can't handle that. I had ulcers years about and my stomach is very sensitive. The pharmacist says it can cause ulcers all over you body, anywhere you have mucous membranes. I can't afford that. I would bleed to death from my stomach. Did your hair fall out? I have such thin hair if it any of it falls out I will be bald for sure. All chemotherapy drugs are poisons!!! They not only kill of the bad cells but destroy and do damage to the good ones. The specialist explained that too me when my grandmother had cancer. This methotrexate is a chemotherapy. snowdrift52003 <snowdrift52003@...> wrote: I don't know how you guys let your docs make you take this stuff. > This is some > bad stuff!!! I have had only minor, fleeting side effects from it. Lately I've been thinking of writing my rheumatologist a thank you note, saying: " thank you for helping me feel so much better! " Poison? No. S. Guest guest
, The dosage of methotrexate used in RA is only 1/100 the amount of Methotrexate used for cancer chemotherapy. There is NO COMPARSION!!! a > > I am happy if it worked for you. Did you get any bad infections? I am never > sick and I really don't need to take anything that makes me sick. Guest guest
Maybe a survey will shed some light on the perils of meds, MTX specific. For me, there is no side effect except for possibly fatigued. I take daily vitamins and haven't been sick in many years except the sniffles once or twice. I take a multivitamin each morning with 600 mg of Calcium. In the evening I take vitamin B, C, E, and Calcium. I think that's the reason I haven't been sick even though the MTX is supposed to suppress my immune system. Dennis Re: [ ] Re: meds as " bad stuff " > > I am happy if it worked for you. I would much rather take these meds than be crippled. Something else to remember: possible side effects are just that: POSSIBLE. Go get a drug book and look up possible side effects of aspirin, tylenol and benedryl. Choose your poison-anything can kill ya. Please don't judge us as not being able to make decisions about our own bodies. I hope you stay well, but one day your own body might jerk you right out of denial.......Cary
