Guest guest
Hi & welcome to our group. I have a cousin that is certified to do the JMT treatment and really wanted to try it on me. I researched it and decided it wasn't something that I believed in. I should have let her try it just because it didn't seem harmful (except for the pocket book if I were paying someone to have it done). I've now moved away and won't get the opportunity again, but that is ok with me because I'm to skeptical. In my 25+ years with this disease, I've tried many alternatives and feel I have more joint damage because of not taking dmards. It's everyone's choice to take or not to take the drugs. We all wish alternative treatments could take the place of drugs. My personal belief is to do both traditional and alternative. a > Hello to All, > > I am new to this support group. Guest guest
I made the mistake of going to a local quack-o-practor so I could get into water aerobics. He knew to stay away from my knees and especially my neck! I have one disc that is gone and another going. Well, he grabbed my neck suddenly and snapped it before I could say " DON'T " . I was in a pain management clinic for over 6 months and it still bothers me. When it gets sore, I break out the Soma and it goes back into the background. Meds can be your friend. Guest guest
I tried chiropractic medicine too and detested getting my neck cracked. I stopped going because of it, and I'm glad I did after reading how bad it is for people with RA. It wasn't right for him to do a sneak attack on you. a > I made the mistake of going to a local quack-o-practor so I could get into > water aerobics.
