Guest guest
Hi everyone, I am really new to the group so primarily I just read all the words of wisdom that you all write. I had no respect for this disease until it hit with a vengence (I have ra, psoriatic arthritis and been told that I have fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome). I guess if I was an old broodmare...well you know what they would do with me, now...sometimes it feels like it would be a blessing. If it wasn't for my kids, I would have a hard time getting up. Anyway, it is so nice to not feel alone. I have no family to speak of 'cause they are so dysfunctional that I had to distance my children from them - it wasn't healthy and all I really had left was my mom anyway. Friends don't understand (I hear all the time - you look so healthy!) ha ha...if they only knew... So I just keep on truckin' Gotta work, gotta take care of my kids... But a HUGE thank you just knowing that you are all out there, feeling the same pains, aches and then to hear about what works and doesn't. The article links that come across are wonderful and I enjoy getting to know all of you. I don't have much spare time but enjoy skimming through some of the postings - can't hit all of them. Thanks for being out there...I don't feel so alone. in CA
