To the UK members. . .I need help!

Hi all!

I've just found out that i will be taking a business trip to London

Aug 28 to Sept 5. I'm VERY excited, but need some answers : ).

OK, what is the weather like there this time of year? Do I mainly

need short sleeves, or will it get cold at night? Will it be rainy,

dry, or a little of both?

What sights should I absolutely not miss out on?

The third of Sept, I will be able to take a day trip to Paris. Is it

better to take the train or to fly. I'm finding quotes that say the

train costs more and takes around 21/2 hours while the plane is

slightly less and is around 1 hour each way.

Any help is GREATLY appreciated!
