Guest guest
Hi Elaine, I am sorry to hear that you have pulmonary hypertension as a result of taking phen-fen. I too, took the diet drug combination phen-fen and suffered depression, dibilitating migraines and now have fibro, and RA. I would like to respectfully suggest that you contact an attorney about your condition (you may have already done so). You do have recourse for all your medical bills (past/current/future - including prescription costs) and for pain and suffering - which you deserve since the drug companies that marketed phen-fen disregarded medical studies, and executives showed a blatant disregard for the welfare of patients taking the drug combo. I don't want to bore everyone in this group with the details, so please feel free to email me personally, and I would be more than happy to tell you my experience and point you in the right direction. You do have to live with this, however you have legal standing to bring litigation against the companies responsible, and you deserve some assistance with all the medical expenses. I hope to hear from you soon. Peace, Stacey > The incureable disease I have been dxed with is Pulmonary > Hypertension. You may have heard of the deadly disease in women > caused by phen-fen and redux. That is it. Yes, I did take both phen- > fen and redux but I also have other risk factors. So who knows. It's > suspicious since I was dx'd a month after taking the drugs for 11 > months. Doesn't matter how; I've got it and have to live with it.
