Scientific research shows that writing helps people with illnesses. A study

published in April, 2003, in the Journal of the American Medical Association

showed that 47% of patients with asthma and rheumatoid arthritis improved

after writing about their most traumatic events, while only 24% of those in the

control group, who wrote about everyday topics, improved.

“Journaling therapy should never replace a doctor’s care. All study

participants received the same care while they journaled, so take that as your

cue

to do the same.â€

Beth

Philippians 4:8 (The Message):

Friends, I'd say you'll do best by filling your minds and meditating on

things that are true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious -- the

best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things

to curse.
