Guest guest
I was reading that the moderator can send special announcements which would come seperate from the usual posts. Would it be possible to post those abstracts as special announcements? That way you would get a seperate e-mail for those abstracts that are of special interest and you would like to save. They could still be posted the regular way as well as send as special announcement. I don't know if this would work. It does create a bit more e-mail but for those that are saving important abstracts it might be worth it. Just a thought. Toni
Guest guest
I can see where you're going with that one, Toni, and agree that it would be nice if we could do something like that, but it wouldn't be an appropriate use of that feature. One problem is that we do have members who have chosen the " Special Announcements " E-mail option. They most likely wouldn't appreciate getting any mail. In addition, it would create more work for a and me since we would have to post each medical research item from the site. To help those getting individual E-mails from the group who are sorting their mail, a and I could put " RESEARCH " in the subject line. I'll tell you where to go! Mayo Clinic in Rochester http://www.mayoclinic.org/rochester s Hopkins Medicine http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org [ ] have a suggestion about the abstract and medical reports > I was reading that the moderator can send special announcements which would > come seperate from the usual posts. Guest guest
What a good idea! Why dont people put recipe for recipes, joke for joke, research for research, personal follow up with their name if sending an update on their situation, medical question for medical questions, finance for finance etc. This would make it even easier to sort mail. --- <Matsumura_Clan@...> wrote: > I can see where you're going with that one, Toni, > and agree that it > would be nice if we could do something like that, > but it wouldn't be an > appropriate use of that feature. > > One problem is that we do have members who have > chosen the " Special > Announcements " E-mail option.
