, I am a nurse as well. I would never do anything that would

put my patient at risk. So on days that are so bad that don't feel

safe, I don't come in. Because of Family Mediacal Leave of Absents

act (FMLOA), there was nothing that they could do about it. But,

last year I called in 7 times. I thought that was a lot, but

apparently that's not so bad for what I have going on. Now, because

I was off work for nearly 6 months, I have no FMLOA time left. I

love my work and what I do. I work in surgery and I am the

Orthopedic Manager. You are right, they are the last ones to

understand or to even care. Especially since the hospital I work

with went corporate. The only concern they have now is the bottom

dollar. You have gone through a lot as well. My concern, as well,

is that I am my only provider. I guess I need to really take a hard

long look at where I am and where I am going. Thank you for your
