Guest guest
Hi Meribeth It's me again. I originally went to Dr in 1995 because of thumb and first two fingers my left hand kept cramping and getting stiff to point that I couldn't hold pen, fork etc. Like everything else, they sent me to another Dr. for shots in hand to loosen the muscles. Well, to make a long story, it left my hand so weak I couldn't do anything with it. Needless to say I never went back to that Dr Several months after that and several attempts to get them to do something to get the strength back, I noticed that my hand was shaking, kinda like when you haven't eaten and you get shaky. (Does that make sense?) . Shortly after that my left leg started shaking too. I tried to tell those idiots what was happening, but everytime I had a Dr appt it didn't happen. Finally, after 4 yr, I had an appt and it was going on during Dr visit. Tried to get me to drink from cup. Spilled the dang stuff all over. My comment to them was " See this is what I have been trying to tell you for a years " They put me on Premidone (used for epilepsy) This has slow down the frequency but has not helped that much. Some days my left hand, arm and leg are so shaky and weak I can't do anything. I just sit or go to bed until it passes. NSG says this is not Chiari related. Imagine that?? I know what you mean and I hope some of the others can relate to what you mention as well as what I have just said. Any input from others would be appreciated.
