That State Law does not forbid paramedics to practice their skills in the

ER. It states that a Nurse cannot deligate those skills. The Physician can

give you a direct order or written protocol, and you can do what ever he

tells you. It is on his Liscence then. We have been working in the ER for

a long time here at Nacogdoches Memorial, however it is under Ohysician

supervision, not the nurse's.
