Guest guest
I e-mailed Marsha privately when she asked what we do and here's a case where I should have done the group. We are sourcing in products from China. Hence our name Source It. We are taking customer's (at this time, lock and safe manufacturer's because Phil used to be a safe manufacturer and has a lot of contacts) parts and pieces that are labor intensive and making them in China. Phil has also designed a few products that they are making for us to sell. Another thing we have is a 9v battery box that the battery slides into and it can be mounted instead of the battery just handing from the wires. The lockmakers are ordering them. Phil is very smart and creative but never was much on the sales part but because the people in the industry know him and respect him he's got his foot in the door. We got some fire safes in but he didn't think they were good enough quality. We don't want to sell junk. They also make plastic injection molded products and we may get into the security industry. I'll let you guys know when we have a decent web page going. Right now we have one but don't have a clue as to how to set it up. That's my next challenge. I do more of the office stuff and desk top publishing I made the business cards and brochures and with much trouble got the graphics to the sign company who made a banner for us to hang in our booth. I'm learning a lot in the process. I currently work as an office manager for a small rep firm that sells rf microwave products. I don't always have much to do that is why I am able to post a lot. I can't wait for the day when I can just work for us and don't have to commute to a job. They are good to me here and very cooperative with my having to take time off for Phil but I want to be my own boss, doesn't everyone? Thanks for asking Barb and again I gave a long drawn out answer.LOL Peg Peggy, What kind of business are you starting ? Maybe someone can make a few sales for you from the group.
