Guest guest
Thanks Judi, I took the heating/massage cushion with me as it was 55' at work with the heater very slowly working there. It finally reached 62' about 3 hrs , then when it got about 67' my boss made me turn it off because it was warmer in his office, so, it went back down to 63' BURR!!!! At least I had my candle to warm my hands on! I did wake up with one of the kittens cuddling at my feet this morn. Ususally the one yr old male hogs the 2 kittens, he thinks they are his, if he could lactate, he would, lol. I am going out once today, gonna take it easy the rest. Blessings, April nonny46 <nonny46@...> wrote: Hi April, I spent most of yesterday on the couch with one of those fever/achy flares, and I don't have RA (I have Dercum's.) My joints felt like they were grinding on each other. My normal temp, like yours, is around 96-97. My doc knows when it's 98 and above, I'm sick! They even have it noted on my hospital records now! I hate that achy, about-to-get-the-flu feeling. I drank gallons of green tea yesterday, read " Skipping Christmas " , listened to CD's, cuddled with the cat, and generally just felt like I needed a day off. We even had carry-in Chinese and ate by the fire last night. Today is better, but this cold, cloudy, damp weather doesn't help, and they are predicting heavy rain changing to snow here in central Indiana. Take care, baby yourself, and don't feel guilty! Guest guest
April, I'm so sorry that you have to work in a environment like that. I am always cold, and I could not work in that cold of an area, or I would be down with a cold all the time. Please, take care of yourself, Tawny > > > Hi April, > > I spent most of yesterday on the couch with one of those fever/achy > flares, and I don't have RA (I have Dercum's.) Guest guest
April, Tell " Mr. Scrooge " you need another lump of coal! I just finished making myself a pair of fleece-lined pants. Couldn't pay the $60 or so they want in stores, so bought a 1-yard remnant at WalMart, and lined a pair of cords I have--mmmmm, toasty warm! Will Scrooge provide you with a space heater? Maybe if he's too warm in his office, he'd be willing to trade--I'd sure be willing to trade bosses! Sending warm thoughts, Judi
