I have found that when I call the local SS office for my son I really don't get

much help. But, when I call the national toll free number I always get what I

need. I have no idea if this is the norm but in our area it seems to be.

How discouraging. You should have been able to have Medicare by July '04.

Have you talked to your soc sec office or the lawyer? Yes, for me, too it was

not so much about the money, but theMedicare- sad there is that 2 year wait

period.
