OT changing to different notification format

I can't keep up with the volume of e-mails I'm

receiving so I want to change my setting. Please

clarify for me what I'll recieve if I opt for the

" special notices " -will I still get those medical

abstracts? What will I get if I opt for the digest

format?- how long will each digest be and will it have

an index so I can skip entries I'm not interested in?.

Will I be able to still go to the website and read

e-mails there and are they searchable by thread- don't

want to miss those jokes-some are hilarious. Thanks.

PS- will I still be able to post the occasional

query to the group and read any replies?
