Guest guest
So what made his platlets go up? What did they-you do to make eatting easier? What did they do to him in hospital? Our Dr. told us when platlets go down to 50,000 to 20,000 bleeding is harder to stop. Think that by removing spleen platlets will go up. Does Ty's go up and down at will? Thanks Barb Re: Ken's spleenBarbI am glad that you got my message....Ty's guard was for protection....being in school they were afraid that he would get bumped...in the ribs and cause a puncture...and of course on the school bus and in cars....he was not allowed gym...his playlets were at a low at 42,000...they are now at 79,000...His spleen is still sometime too large but hasn't had to wear the guard again....in fact I don't think it has been near normal in a long time....but that is because of the playlets being low....Nice talking to you....Luanne Ty's mom
