Guest guest
or maybe you will. First off, I saw my ortho dr who found the RA on Thurs and referred me to a " rheumy " ( I think this word is funny:-) Saturday I get the paperwork in the mail from the Rheumys office with tons of questions on it, they have gotten me in on this friday, man that was fast. I will spend the next week gathering xrays and old lab work, have had many labs done sporadically by my primary dr over last 7 years, some of it positive but that never " related " to anything. I want to keep copies of all lab/xrays from now on because from what I have read from yall, I may need to do the SSDI one day and it will help to have it on hand myself. Ok, I call my biological father yesterday, we talk several times a year, but didnt see him alot growing up. I knew he had an autoimmune kidney disease and I called to quiz him about it before I go to the doc, know what he tells me? He was diagnosed with RA 2 months ago (as well as thyroid and diabetes after having Valley Fevr in the spring) anyhow, that just blew my mind. Man yall are a busy group. I duck out for one day and it takes me an hour to weed through the posts) I am off to my health insurance website to see what drugs they will cover, the new rheumy sent a list of drugs wanting to know what I have been on in the past, I am going to research all of them to see what insurance pays and dosnt so I don't waste his and my time on something that insurance won't cover up front. I have tried Ultram, Bextra, Naprosyn, Vioxx, Celebrex, Ansaid, Disclid, Daypro and Voltaren with little or no relief over the last 4 years. Thanx a ton guys. in MO
