Guest guest Posted August 30, 2004 Report Share Posted August 30, 2004 Cabbage Roll Casserole 6c chopped cabbage (about 1/2 a medium head) 11/2 lb ground beef browned and drained 1 onion chopped 2/3 c rice chili powder - a sm. or lg. sprinkle depending on how spicy you want (I used 1/2 tsp) 1/2 tsp garlic powder 2 cans tomato soup 1 soup can water opt: shredded cheddar or mozzarella for topping Place cabbage in greased slow cooker. Mix meat, onion, rice and seasonings together and place on cabbage. Whisk soup and water until smooth, and pour over meat. Cook on high 4-5 hours, or on low 8-9 hours. Turn off heat and remove lid. Sprinkle cheese over and let melt. (Or bake all in 9 " x13 " baking pan in oven until done.
