Guest guest
I have acm and fibromyalgia and my eldest daughter has acm. I was decompressed 13 years ago and Sue was operated on early this year. I was symptom free for 9 years after the decom. but the last 3 years has seem me slowly get worse and worse. I think that my headaches and loss of balance is worse now. Sorry for venting at you guys but I feel as if I have had enough and how much more can I stand? I guess I will manage some how. Guest guest
Hi Jackie, This is a question I plan on getting into with my Nuero. My sister which is 2 yrs older than I am(40) Was born with and I don't know the proper name for it but fluid on the brain I think the loose term for it was waterhead baby. Mom and Dad were trying to make the decision to have a shunt put in and for some reason her head quit growing. Now remember this was 40 yrs. ago. As a result of the fluid she is somewhat retarded and her head in quite a bit bigger than normal. Anyway I really wonder if this could be hereditary or not. I know by what Mom has said and what I have read that this is awfully close to she had. It is something to ponder!! Love Sandy
Guest guest
Sorry all I have to add one more thing to this question. As far as I can tell from the info. that I have found even the few specialist in this field can not really tell us a definate answer to any questions just maybes or possiblities so Jackie I would tell that Dr. he is stupid. They are trying to figure this problem out but they certainly wouldn't be having studies done if they knew the answer to the possiblity of it being hereditary. I'm sorry I have no time or patience for any like that. Don't believe every thing! Love Sandy
