Guest guest
Fiona: I have been really been thinking of you and was so glad and relieved to read you feel your new doctor is going to be open to your suggestions. I really hope your UTI's stop after this bout of antibs. Best of luck, maybe it's finally turning a corner!!
Guest guest
Hi everyone, I finally got round to seeing the other doctor in the practice (after mine left), and he was fantastic. I was worried about going, but he was very kind and understanding and willing to listen to my idea's and suggestions. We discussed the yeast infections I seem to be getting with every antibiotic, and I told him that I knew some people were taking diflucan regularly etc. He was interested in this, but he told me he was concerned as it can cause liver problems over a prolonged period of time. With the latest antibiotic (Nitrofurantoin) the yeast infections aren't as severe, but are still a problem; so I am going to try taking 50mg Diflucan on alternate days. Hopefully this will do the trick. I am just glad that I broke the ice and went to see him; and he even told me to keep in touch. love Fiona *~*~*
