Guest guest Posted September 14, 1999 Report Share Posted September 14, 1999 The pain in the shoulder is usually cause by procedures where they put air into you to extend the area in which they need to see what they are doing such as when they took out Phil's gallbladder, laproscopicly, and they also did a liver biopsy while they were in there. It happened when I had my tubes tied laproscopicly. It ususally lasts only a couple of days. I think what Laurie has is the same as what Phil has, it is between the shoulder blades and moves up the neck and into the head.
