Got a letter from my ltd company today....goodnesss

Hi all,

Im doing a lil better this morning...its another 'warm' day in

60s...really crazy weather here but i LOVE having the window open and

get some fresh air ...It is supposed to cool down again this wknd but

im enjoying the warm and sunny weather as much as i can:) I am

pretty sad still about smokey and his lil brother has been looking for

him but I think he will adjust and do ok. It was so sad putting him to

sleep and i do thank you for the emails ive gotten- pets can very much

be a huge part of our family and not just ''pets''. I found a site

thanks to a friend brenda:) called rainbow bridge and i wrote a little

tribute which helped.

I got a letter in the mail yesterday from my LTD company saying they

hadnt gotten any word back from my lawyer regarding my ssd case(no

surprise there as he is not worth a damn in my mind!) and they want to

find out whats going on with my case. They said if they dont hear back

within 30days that they will lower my payments cause THEY estimate i

should get 1100 from SSD monthly ( i wish!!!! its more like 740 now)

so theyll only give me 232 a month. I am going to send back the

letter and let them know what the amount is and see what they say.

They also wrote that they hired ALLSUP to help with my case and want

me to sign a release saying they can get all my info from ssd....they

said its a company THEY hired and theyd get paid a fee (i dont think

so buddy!!!) but i put a call in to the rep and see what he ends up

saying..

I did write my lawyer about how unhappy I was with how he handled case

and basically abandoned me after HE got his 5300.00 a few months ago

and that i wanted to file a grievance which i will be doing. A few of

you said i should file a complaint and I will be doing so. He wrote

back a 1 sentence reply saying that there is onl so much he can do and

he cannot force ssd to write me my check. When i forwarded that to a

dear friend chelle who knows about lawyers she was as fired up as me

and said thats no reply and he really is a jerk.

I will not be contacting him again. He is making me so mad and i wish

this would hurry up so i could deal with LTD, see what they want,

negotiate and do what i have to do....its taking so long and i get

nowhere from ssd office either.

Im going to relax a lil bit today and head to my new friends house who

helped me yesterday and whos just been such a great friend. We made

her a lil cake yesterday (i finally got a decent toaster /convection

oven instead of stove) for her bday which is today.

Ill keep u posted on all i find out but i wish ssd would get off their

butts- we do need some change in this country!!!!!!
