Guest guest Posted August 25, 2004 Report Share Posted August 25, 2004 I had my normal rheumy visit today. He upped my mtx from 15 to 20, even tho I was not verbally complaining. He did not like my lymph nodes swelling and my fingers and toes, how they looked. I told him, oh I missed some doses- he said still it should not be quite this bad........and my labs were not pleasant...well my liver is fine. :-) He asked if I was having stress, he asked about my vacation, I told him about my best friend with melanoma and my godfather - pancreatic cancer- and my husband, the VA is once again going back and forth about whether they do bypass first or fuse his spine first or skip it all cuz of his cancers---- and had my oldest childs IEP meeting at school (lasted 5 huours) He was like YIKES_ no wonder you are worse we HAVE to do something about stress here. Yeah. I did ask him a few questions about Prosorba column , not for me, but just out of curiosity, and about biologicals... (I guess I was really just looking for a conversation) He actually pulled a chair up, his face lit up and he complimented me on my questions and knowledge!
