Guest guest
Moderator's note: Twilight sleep, and conscious sedation, are essentially the same thing. Kaylene Moderator I have had both epidurals and facet injections right in the pain center. The epidurals were okay...but, the facet injections were painful. The second time I ask for something and they gave me a valuim. It didn't do anything. I still felt everything! And, they didn't do a thing for me. There was one guy one evening heading for the emergency room after his...he was in severe pain and could hardly walk. They think they hit a nerve that they shouldn't have. I still can't believe they just let him leave like that. I was just having trigger point injections that night....whew!!!! The very first facet injections I had in the hospitol and they put me in twilight sleep. That was great...then they changed to in office procedure. I would like the insurance person who made that decision to have it done in a doctors office and see how fast they change things!!!! Now I just have the left and right lumbar rhyzotomy and that takes care of it for me.
