Guest guest
I'm glad you had a successful move! Let us know about the thyroid and the liver test. How are all the kids getting along with each other? Are his kids around the same ages as your kids? Guest guest
Hi Jennie - I am so glad that you wrote back! I will let you know as soon as they call about the results. I still have to move my big stuff from California, but most of that will be sold because we have everything we need here - there are just a few special things that I want to keep and then the kids beds (bunk) that I want to move. WE will go back next month to get those, when I am doing better. Is that your little girl on the photo page? If so, she is so cute! The kids are getting along great...here is the line up. First comes my oldest daughter - age 17 1/2, then her oldest age 14, then my next daughter 11 1/2, then my youngest daughter 9 then her son 8. They get along great - there are a few squirmes for power, but we expected that and for such close quarters - they are doing great. We are going to add on to the house, but just getting contractor that we like out here is hard. And no there is no " his " , it is a two mommy house...kind of different than most families, but there is so much love in this house. Guest guest
, Well I'm glad you clarified my incorrect assumption! How does your 17 1/2 year old feel about moving? Is she just out of high school or just starting her senior year? I imagine it was tough to leave their friends behind, but in the long run it's wonderful to gain new siblings! I have three step-sisters but they are not interested in having a relationship with my sister and I. It might have been different if we ever had lived together as a family, or perhaps if they weren't so self absorbed. Enjoy settling into your new home I was just thinking, you have 7 people under your roof. That is really a lot! You could market yourself as a variation on the Brady Bunch and get your own reality tv show. Jennie --- In , " lisaplumeria " <lisamolino@h...> wrote: > Hi Jennie - I am so glad that you wrote back! Guest guest
Hi . Glad you are moved and getting settled. I don't know if your doctor told you this, but nodules on your thyroid are usually not a really big deal (i.e., malignant). I've had multiple nodules that come and go. I take thyroid hormone, even though I'm not hypothyroid, and it kind of keeps them under control. How long have you had RA? The reason I wonder is that I developed thyroid and joint problems almost at the same time, and I've heard from some other people who have had the same thing happen. --- In , " lisaplumeria " <lisamolino@h...> wrote: > Hi everyone... > I am all moved in and feeling better. Guest guest
, glad to hear that you've made it to Arizona and that you're feeling somewhat better. Sounds like you have a big, fun family. You must be very busy trying to get all the kids settled in their new schools. I wouldn't worry about your thyroid yet either. Good that you have insurance so you can get it checked out. Best of luck to you! Please give us an update when you can. I'll tell you where to go! Guest guest
Hi Jennie! My 17 year old is digging her heels in - left a VERY yucky boyfriend in CA that I am so relieved about. She is not willing to participate as a family member at all. She is out of high school and was to be in college but was bombing at that too. So she will work for a year and save some money. Last semester cost me a bundle and she did poorly and I refuse to pay out another $700 for a bunch of nothing.... You know, we went to Sedona a few weeks ago, and we totally looked like the Brady Bunch! It was really funny! The kids (other ones) are all blending well and I love to hear my children introduced as the new sisters ... so loving. How old were you when you were blended? in AZ... > > Hi Jennie - I am so glad that you wrote back! I will let you know > as > > soon as they call about the results. Guest guest
Hi , I was diagnosed with RA and PsA about 3 years ago. I have not had that rough of a time until the last 5 months when things went from 0- 60 in about 3 weeks. I am glad to hear about the nodules...I am just really really really (did I say really) letting this go - not worrying and just waiting to see what the next step is. Thank you for your post - that is a comfort - I did not know that. -- In , " " <dumbblondejogger@y...> wrote: > Hi . Guest guest
Hi , We do have a fabulous family and having a ball. You know, I am an only child too! Hah! I always knew that would have this many in my house! Since I have been on answering posts, our door has been revolving (despite being closed - one child, after another, after another... it is wonderful, comical and delightful).
