Guest guest
" ......Swim a few laps for me, Judi... " Who, me? Judi...that was the old me. This me is lucky to be able to step into the shower (can't take a bath anymore). LOL Yesterday (Saturday), was a rough one for me. I had to eliminate one storage room and rearrange the one that has the bulk of things still being stored. While two of the new friends I have made here in AZ did the bulk of the work, it none the less was very taxing and tiring on me. The FMS protested very vehemently. In the evening, my friend from next door (of 18 years), came over to have dinner with me and though it had been cooking in the crockpot all afternoon, took one look at me and said for me to go to bed and went home. My two new found friends basically did the same thing so I did go to bed early, however, was up again for a couple of hours. Woke up this morning around 6:30am and thank goodness, the rest must have done me some good as the usual aches and pains associated with crawling out of bed are all that seem to present. I came out and fixed some toast and V8 juice and am sitting here at my usual spot when I want to relax. I would like for you all to keep me in your prayers and thoughts right now for answers and the strength to make the right decision. As you know, I have raised my grandson, Richie, for most of his life (just turned 10) and now I am faced with some decisions to make with him. Part of yesterday's flair had to do with issues with my daughter that are going to have to be met head on. Please keep Richie in those thoughts, also, as whatever happens needs to be in his best interest. Snowdrift....I'm glad you enjoyed the thoughts I sent on. I especially liked the one you included in your post.....so very true! I have long admired the Dalai Lama also. To be so dedicated against all adversities and still remain so calm and peaceful. Judy...I hope you and your family are soon saying good riddance to the " Community " bug. When I pick up something like that, it also goes directly to my lungs. Sending prayers for healing your way. Tawny....you are in my thoughts and prayers also. I sent you a card and a separate note awhile back when you were having a rough time but both were returned to me as undeliverable. Do you have a new addy? Everyone....I hope you will all have an amazing day. When you get up with a smile even though you don't feel like one and keep it going...before long you will find things to smile and be thankful for....and then the day becomes different because it is viewed in a new light. There are so many things to be thankful for no matter what difficulties are to be faced. Take care, Lots of (((HUGS))), Love, Laughter, Prayers, and Positive thoughts....to you all..Jan =^..^= ~ " If I could reach up and hold a star for every time you've made me smile, the entire evening sky would be in the palm of my hand.
