Guest guest
I saw 's Parlor letter about the cancer and really had a sinking feeling. I did start questioning pretty quickly as well. I noticed that I made some assumptions, she is stopping the Parlor because the radiation will be to difficult, the cancer diagnosis is serious, etc. I am a nurse and as I thought about it, I realized those assumptions are not necc true. Of the skin cancers basal cell are the easiest to treat. I just confirmed some of this with a google search: basal cell cancer, sometimes called non-melanoma skin cancer, usually appears as a small, fleshy bump or nodule on the head, neck, or hands. Occasionally, these nodules appear on the trunk of the body, usually as flat growths. Basal cell carcinoma accounts for more than 80 percent to 90 percent of all skin cancers in the United States. It is often easily detected and has an excellent record for successful treatment. About the stages (She said phase but I believe she meant stage) Identify the numbering system used in conjunction with the TNM system, which uses a scale from 0-4 to rate the spread of the cancer. '0' means the disease is confined to the top layer of your skin. '1' means the disease is less than two cm across and has not spread. '2' means the disease is more than two cm across and has not spread. '3' means the cancer has spread to the lymph nodes and '4' means the cancer has spread to other parts of the body. My thoughts had gotten away from me but not for long! God is good, God is everything- even this cancer. Thanks, Glenn
