I agree with you Sandy,

The only thing is that the dr. does not give me a high enough dosage. He says

I have a long time to live and doesn't want to give me a higher dosage than 20mg

twice a day. Sometimes it's not enough but how do you fight the system. I

think I have been on it about 1 1/2 yrs. bacause of a fractured back that healed

wrong. I also take soma for muscle spasms but find by afternoon I have to take

two cause the oxy. has just about reached it's limit.

Thank you to all who responded to my question about

Oxycodone/Oxycontin. I am glad to learn the difference. Also

thanks to Cheryl for her information about " Physicians' Desk

Reference (pdrhealth.com) That is a site I have earmarked for future

reference.

I think this group is going to be very helpful to me. So glad I

found it. I have several chronic pain issues going on and it's good

to have a place to turn for information and advice, especially if

it's based on personal experience!

Best regards to all. I'll be lurking around and will pop in when I

have anything to say that may be helpful to someone.
