Guest guest
http://www.applesforhealth.com/oldrheum2.html From the article: " 'You may not be able to prevent rheumatoid arthritis with fish oil and vitamin E, but the adjunct treatment may delay symptoms and allow a patient to reduce the dosage of whatever medication he is taking,' said Venkatraman, who is continuing to characterize precisely which cytokines are affected by the nutritional supplements and how. " So for those taking these, how much do you take? Can it be harmful to take fish oils? Are they in tablet form? I currently take a multivitamin and 1500 mgs of calcium daily, in addition to prednisone, mtx, folic acid and Humira. I feel like I already take so much, even adding more vitamins seems like a burdon. But if it's safe and might help, I guess I should be willing to buy a bigger pill box and give it a try.
