Guest guest
,....I'm sorry that your having so much pain right now, and trying to manage school. I'm not sure what type of injections that your rheumy is thinking of. I know that steroid injections work pretty well. I also have a very bad neck, and the pain is unbearable sometimes. I'm very limited on movement, which sucks! I will keep you in my prayers, . You are a strong woman, dealing with this disease, and going to school. When are you going back to the rheumy? I hope that he helps you with the pain, because I know how hard that must be on you, sitting in class. Let us know how your doing, and what type of injection he is talking about, take care Tawny > I am not afraid of needles or anything like that, but this makes me > think twice. Guest guest
, Call your rheumy's office and ask what kind of injections he was planning on giving you. Then you will have time to do some research before your next visit. Being informed about what the injections will do, what the possible side effects are, and how likely they are to help will ease some of your fears. Not knowing anything about it is what is scary - but we all need to be very informed when it comes to our own treatment before we agree to it.
