Guest guest
Vit d Don't have the references for you but I believe they are low in Vitamin D, and topical vitamin D in ointment is one of the treatments, but Naturopaths have them take 10000iU a day for 2-3 months and check the level, and check for clinical improvement. Flax seed oil, in general very good for skin conditions such as eczema. Someone with more knowledge than me? Guest guest
Psoriasis and Eczema are inflammatory disorders. They are usually the bodies reaction to some exposure, which i find to usually be a food. Not necessarily an allergy, but at least an inflammatory reaction. First have the patient give up dairy for 4 weeks. If no improvement then have them give up grains, yes, as in Gluten Free, regardless of what the labwork states. If the body stops it reactive inflammatory reaction, the skin condition clears without supplements or meds. If you like supplements then Vitamin D and omega3's can be useful, but will rarely work unless you get rid of the offending reactive agent. The skin is an organ just like the liver and kidneys. If the skin is reacting to a food, imagine what is happening to the other organs.....
