Guest guest
Judi, Glad that your feeling a little better, and the cough is almost gone. I hope the hives move on out:) I'm feeling a little better, hopefully the Mobic is kicking in. I have had quite a bit of pain this week, but I'm sure do to the changing of the weather. Were getting chilly nights here already. I'm just lounging around today in my pajama's. My Mom called she was in town over the weekend, they were leaving today. She calls, and let's me know she is in the drive way, and here I'm still in bed, so what a treat for them to see me in pj's, and hair all over my head:} We had a nice visit anyway. I hope your having a nice day, and enjoying yourself, Tawny > > Hi guys, > > I don't know if the ice cream worked its magic, but my cough is > almost gone! Guest guest
Hi Judi...it is really strange...Mt. St. Helens first erupted (during my lifetime) when I was 28. I swear it seems like yesterday!!! It is odd to hear the TV interviews with people saying " It last blew before I was born! " Holy Moley, does time fly! I've lived just across the river from Mt. St. Helens all my life...when I was young we all thought the mountain looked like a big scoop of ice cream! Well, no more. The falling ash was terrible in the early 80's... it sounded like " ssshhhhh " as the grains of ash fell and hit the ground. Many folks (myself included) had a worsening or relapse of asthma and other lung diseases even wearing scarfs or dustmasks over our faces. Experiencing that again is not on my list of things to do again! There have been many tourists (and many locals) heading up as close as they can be to the mountain. I think that is so unwise! True, it s quite a site, but if it goes BIG again there will be tragedy. Love You, Sis.... Tess
