Guest guest
If anyone has any answers about this, please post to the group. I am already fighting tooth and nail to get TN's Medicaid to authorize my specialist in FMS/MPS pain management, and now I'll have to go out of state for a Chiari specialist as well! I won my first go-round, and the state appealed it. Naturally. I have no lawyer; can't afford one and Legal Aid was "too booked" to help me. I just got the state's new brief (after the deadline to submit info to the commissioner's office, of course), and their attorney ripped me to shreds -- and lied in the process! Totally misconstrued everything Dr. B and I had said! I was, and am, furious. And frustrated! Now I'm getting ready for another battle?? God help me; when does it end?? Why must everything be a bloody fight?? Thank you all! God bless, Sharon in Nashville (aka "Beep") ACM1. fibromyalgia, chronic myofascial pain syndrome, spina bifida occulta, dextroscoliosis, TMJD, migraine, panic disorder, and just plain meanness! *G* newto-@... wrote: original article:/group/chiari/?start=24020 > > > laurl12@... 2 Friday, yikes! > > I truly hope someone can help this person out. > This kind of stuff makes me wanna break everything in sight! > > Any one experienced with the insurance commision?, State ? > legislature or, ??? > > This is NOT right. > > If we can get medicaid to authorize , to see Dr. Frim, then I > would think any HMO can be made to do the same. > > Terry >
