Guest guest
Dear Pat, As someone who used to work extensively with horses, I can say that DMSO is a wonderful medication for HORSES. I would never use it myself because of the possible side effects in humans. It makes one very, very susceptible to infection and is quite dangerous. Your friend was lucky but I wouldn't count on those results for everyone. I've had joint problems for years before the RA and was treated with another horse medication..can't spell the whole thing but it's referred as bute. Boy, did it work great until it started killing people. Needless to say, it's no longer used. Vet meds do not have to pass the same drug trials as those used on people and I just wouldn't chance it. Just my opinions.
