Hi Jan, what a good laugh you gave me with your story of Mikie. What Ritchie is

going through is the same as an experience we had with my son when he was about

12. After a couple of years where he would have attacks as you described, Chris

had one in the doctors office and they took his appendix out the next day. The

doctor said his appendix was enlarged and had punctured a hole in his spleen.

Most times he was fine but in looking back, most of his attacks happened when he

had been bending over, especially when he was goalie. Since is 53 now, you

will understand why I don't remember all the details LOL but Ritchie's symptoms

sounded identical to what experienced. Just something to keep an eye out

for if it happens again.
