Guest guest
Remove the illusions of lack, of gain, of loss... of winning , loosing, superlatives, derogatory assessment... ( Mother 's words) when asked what she did....a portion of her reply was that each day she observed Jesus in all his distressing disguises. how would our thoughts change if we believed that people are EXACTLY like they should be... and our real " perceived concern " is they are doing anything other than exactly what they have always done or been or are supposed to be doing.... We own that illusion and any anger. I offer a little exercise that may be of benefit or not to someone. ______ is spirit, Whole and innocent, all is forgiven and released. It is a work of love that is fun to do first with yourself... or not.. I find that first thought with myself often is the most destressing disguise that dissolves into forgiveness. We are not separate from the power of our thought. Guest guest
I'm reminded of a quote from Epictetus (translated of course), the " Stoic " guy: " If you hear that someone is speaking ill of you, instead of trying to defend yourself you should say: " He obviously does not know me very well, since there are so many other faults he could have mentioned " " Too true!
