Guest guest
Great 'pome', Sam... exactly that: dying of thirst as you drown. And 'helping' other drowners down with you as you go! Coming from you, Mike, I take that as a wonderful compliment. Thank you. I do love paradox and I think that piece is fraught with them, but then, so is Truth, so maybe it's OK. Guest guest
The basis of all things is uncompounded,a self–originating vastness beyond all expression This hits me right where I recognize it. Whew! Thanks. Blissings, Sam Life should be easier. So should your homepage. Try the NEW AOL.com.
Guest guest
For me, when metaphor upon metaphor has put a face on the archetypal energies, and the realization that human projection has clouded Truth in confusion, Buddhism clears things. I saw this quote on one of Mike Dickman's pages that speaks volumns " " The basis of all things is uncompounded, " Not one whit less, but perhaps more awe in recognizing this. Guest guest
oh, i'm glad you looked at my site and could bring something of value away from it. thank you.here's the full quote:The basis of all things is uncompounded,a self–originating vastness beyond all expression which defies all names such as both cyclic existence or extinction of sorrow. If you know it, that is buddhahoodwhile ignorant sentient beings just wander purposelessly in cyclic existence.May all beings of the three realms come to a profound understanding of the value and sense of the inexpressible ground.I really should tidy that site up...Great 'pome', Sam... exactly that: dying of thirst as you drown.
