Guest guest
Today it is 20 degrees and snowing. It is beautiful outside but it really does a number on my knees. My pain doc said when the barometric pressure changes people are in more pain. Today I cleaned the kitchen, made the bed, and wrapped a bunch of xmas gifts. Now I am exhausted and taking a break. I wanted to get the gifts wrapped because I have to send them out soon. I hope everyone is pain free today. It is cold in the house so I am bundling up in sweats and blankets and looking out the window at the snow, soooo cozy. I just hope my husband doesnt make a rude remark. Sometimes they just dont understand, sigh. I sure appreciate our troops and wish they could all come back home. I wish I could send all of them something to show my appreciation of sacrifice. keliz
Guest guest
Keliz, What State are you in? I'm in Oklahoma and we are expecting 4-7 inches here over night and tomorrow, but right now we are getting freezing rain and sleet. The temps are in the mid 20's with a wind chill around 11. It's midnight. LOL Funny thing is, it was 64 when I got up this morning. That didn't last long! ~Tommie Let it snow......... Today it is 20 degrees and snowing. Guest guest
lol believe it or not, Idabel is the ONLY town in Oklahoma that isn't under the Winter Storm Warning. lol It looks funny. It's in the very SE corner of the State and it's not part of it. The rest of the State is. They got lucky, well maybe! I'd rather have the snow than not. I'm sure they at least have freezing rain. We are now suppose to get 5-8 inches, they've upped it. It will snow heavily for 6 hrs straight today and then off and on till 10pm tonight. High today is 25. lol ALL of our schools are closed and even some of the State Offices. It's icy out there right now. They are looking at 1/8th to a 1/4 of an inch of ice. What are you forcasted to get? Now that everyone has an update on Oklahoma weather!! This is very rare for us. ~Tommie Let it snow......... > > > > > > Today it is 20 degrees and snowing. Guest guest
Hi Tommie I live up in Minnesota. We went from temps in the 50's one day to the 30's the next. Last night it got down to the single digits 8 with a wind chill of -14. Still no snow. The 5 - 6 " that we got earlier in November is all gone. Forecast doesn't call for any snow for the next week. The cold front moved further south than expected, so people in Texas and Oklahoma are getting the freezing rain and snow. Hugs Diane - Minnesota > > lol believe it or not, Idabel is the ONLY town in Oklahoma that isn't under the Winter Storm Warning. lol It looks funny. Guest guest
We got some sleet and a hint of snow but mostly rain and COLD. I went to bed under my electric blanket. My body was screaming from pain. Hugs, --- Tommie wrote: > lol believe it or not, Idabel is the ONLY town in > Oklahoma that isn't under the Winter Storm Warning. > lol It looks funny. Guest guest
awww hugs . I'm sorry you didn't get some beautiful snow so you could say the cold was worth it It all hurt me very badly too. I've almost ran out of short acting pain medicine I will have to call my doc Monday. This cold sure does do a number on us. lol We can't walk around wrapped in electric blankets all the time. All though that does sound good, if it would keep the pain away. But I'm afraid that wouldn't help me totally as the pressures cause my pain to rise as well. So does the humidity. I hope you are feeling better soon. Stay warm! Gentle Hugs! ~Tommie Let it snow......... > > > > > > > > > Today it is 20 degrees and snowing.
