i;m on enbrel. and if anyone out there has a flu or anything like it . stop

taking it till you feel better... ( PLEASE) i had a simple stomache flu which

turn in to a week of hell. i had a headache on sunday and blew it off as a

sinus or tenion. and took my shot as the day went on i wasn;t hungry. but after

i went to bed that night it took effect. when i woke up monday morning i was

sick as a dog. i was off work for 2 days and today is the first day i;ve felt

among the living. as of tomorrow i'm taking my temp. before taking the shot. got

to go back to the doc tues. and telling her i want a flu shot. lesson well

learnt. i wouldn't wish that on anyone .. LOL but a few choice enemies...

anti inflamatory? My daughter was on the prednisone for about 4 weeks

at the initial time she was diagnosed which was in June 2004. And yes

she was weaned off the prednisone. I will check out the Enbrel site

and see about the co pay program.

Mike,

You might have had a stomach virus instead of flu. When you say you

were sick as a dog, what do you mean? Did you vomit and have diarrhea?

I had a couple of nasty stomach viruses right after Christmas last

year. I stopped my Enbrel until I got well. I had had a flu shot, but

it didn't stop the stomach viruses, unfortunately. I stop my Enbrel if

I just have a cold. Sue

Mike,

You might have had a stomach virus instead of flu. When you say you

were sick as a dog, what do you mean? Did you vomit and have diarrhea?
