Guest guest
Dear Grace. The same thing happened to me when I just put the detecto together. I just happened to open the box where it came shipped. I assemble it and then I moved to the place where I wanted to be. I noticed that my patients were complaining about 20 pounds less. I got so worry since I bought via overstock.com , not from the local distributor or manufacturer. I moved the detecto and I noticed some metal parts lying on the floor underneath the scale. The metal parts were a hook and a metal plate. I went and placed the detecto on the side ( decubitus lateralis) and figured it out. I learned where the parts were missing and put them back into place and it worked. you can check underneath and she what happened. adolfo To: Sent: Thursday, January 12, 2012 9:56 AMSubject: Re: First part of the detecto scale calibration thanks adolfo.i did tweak the detecto scale. but my scale is about 30 lbs less if a someone whos 200 lbs over steps on scale.im not sure if it's just off and i need to buy a new one.grace>> sorry in my intent to post a video about how to calibrate my detecto.> If the doctor wants to see the whole video she/he can go to youtube and look for me as: OrangeDoc> > > To: IMP < > > Sent: Wednesday, January 11, 2012 8:43 AM> Subject: First part of the detecto scale calibration [1 Attachment]> > > Â > [Attachment(s) from Adolfo Teran included below] > > > > > > > Adolfo E.
