Guest guest Posted December 1, 2008 Report Share Posted December 1, 2008 Hi Cindi, Yes, 3 examples for each turnaround - or even more if you really want - sometimes I can't find 3 - sometimes I don't want to :-) Using the example of " He should undestand me " , the turnaround of " He shouldn't understand me " can be looked at in terms of 3 examples of the reality and also why it is better that he doesn't understand you. For the others, I should understand him/me, finding 3 examples of where you aren't understanding of yourself and him. The examples tend to help bring it back to reality and for me also expose my 'blind spots' about myself - if I think they should understand me, can I understand their viewpoint first of all.
