Guest guest
Hi All, We are pleased to formally announce the classes being offered beginning this coming January through The Center for Archetypal Dreamwork, listed below. For more information about a class or to enroll contact: Annie Wattles office cell email: annie@... The full class schedules will be available on the Center pages on the website. For more information, you can check out the website by going here: http://www.northofeden.com/institute (Please note: We are changing the name from The Institute for Archetypal Dreamwork to The Center for Archetypal Dreamwork. It is still The Institute on the website – we are working on changing that in the next few days) The classes are: Introduction to Archetypal Dreamwork This entry level class designed for people who are not in the work is a six-week course designed for those who are curious about their dreams and are wanting to learn about Archetypal Dreamwork and what role it could play in their lives. The classes will be taught in a classroom setting via video conferencing by North of Eden Teachers Christa Lancaster and Dorothy Korshak. They will introduce how we approach working with dreams. There will be writing assignments and experiential exercises. The first six-week class is Monday evenings beginning January 12, 2009. The classes will be limited to six people to allow for an intimate setting to begin a personal exploration of the inner world and relationship with the Archetypes. The class will learn why we dream, the fundamentals of this process of working with dreams, and how to listen to dreams. We will explore the difference between feelings and emotional reactions, learn what an Archetype is and how the dream speaks to our daily lives. Class time will involve both lecture and discussion and explore the experiential as well as the theory of the dreamwork. The aim is to create a safe container to begin to explore the reality of the dream. Text books for the class include: The Deep Well Tapes, The Secret of The Pomegranate, and Sex, Trauma and Conjunctio. Conferencing will be available for those attending remotely. Cost: Each course is a series of six classes at a cost of $30 per class. Archetypal Dreamwork Support Class This class is designed for people already in the work to become aware of the stories that cover our ability to receive the message from our dreams. This is useful in working with our therapist and the homework from the dream and also in our lives. To do this, the dreams challenge us to descend below the place where our ego self defends its purpose and keeps us gyrating in its grip. We can become more open to the message of the dream that avails us to our true nature and deepest feelings. The class is experiential and interactive. It involves some writing and a certain transparency of our own experience. The class is limited to those who are working with an Archetypal Dream Therapist. There are two classes available with a choice of Monday or Tuesday evenings 6:30-8:00 pm. Each class meets twice a month in Maple Corner, Calais, Vermont. The new semester starts on January 5th and 6th. Leaders of the groups are North of Eden Teachers: Annie Wattles, Deb DeGraff, Dorothy Korshak and Robin Chase Cost: $30 per class Participants will receive $100 off the costs of retreats while participating in a group. Conferencing available for those attending remotely. Becoming an Archetypal Dreamwork Therapist: The Beginning The process of moving from being a dreamwork client to being a Dreamwork Therapist is a challenging and rewarding shift for those who are in the work already and feel called to work with others. The shift requires not only being able to be present with the self, but to be present with another in their process. The class will meet twice a month to explore the basics needed to embark upon the journey to become an Archetypal Dreamwork Therapist. Our focus will be on preparing the advanced student of the work to face the challenges of crossing the threshold into working with others, including the development of the new relationship to both the supervisor and to the client. The class will investigate issues such as the therapist-client relationship, the teacher-student relationship with a supervisor, the dream as the plumb-line, boundaries, transparency, using the birth chart as a tool and therapeutic techniques such as gestalt and data collection. The class will also include learning how to understand dreams through the Submit a Dream project. The requirements of the course are: • Actively involved in your own dreamwork therapy with an Archetypal Dreamwork Therapist. • A readiness as agreed upon with your therapist. • Participation in Marc Bregman’s Archetypal Dreamwork Therapy Training Class. The class will meet twice a month on Thursday evenings from 6pm-8pm beginning January 15th. The class is taught by Master Therapist Christa Lancaster and Marie Scavo. Cost for both this class and Marc’s Archetypal Dreamwork Therapy Training Class is $80/month. Archetypal Dreamwork Therapist Training Class (Ongoing) Master Teacher and Founder Marc Bregman teaches an ongoing experiential class about working with clients for student Archetypal Dreamwork Therapists. These classes meet twice a month on Saturdays from 10am – 12pm. _______ Again, to enroll in a class or for more information, please contact: Annie Wattles office cell email: annie@...
