Guest guest
yes, that is a very common response from non-agressive doctors. A high blood sugar is anything over 120. You'll quickly find that if you want to run an a1c of 5.0 to 5.5 you have to be a very pro-active patient and you'll be educating most of your doctors on agressive treatment since they don't have a clue. Yes, find him an endo or if you stick with that doc, at least you will be learning what you need to learn here on the list so an endo may not be necessary quite yet since you have the list. We will show you more than any family doctor could think of showing you. After all, who do you think showed them what they know about diabetics? Yup, diabetics showed them *smile* For every day diabetic treatment, docs aren't the best around as you just found out. This is why you must be a pro-active patient and learn all you can about it. For prescribing medication, they are good LOL. regards, Re: hi all question about > > food > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Hello Shane, > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > I m sure will be able to be far more specific > > in > > > > > > helping > > > > > > > > you > > > > > > > > > > > here, > > > > > > > > > > > > > but an idea my mom learned in the hospital was to > have > > > an > > > > > open > > > > > > > > face > > > > > > > > > > > > > sandwich with peanut butter and cream cheese and a > > > > > strawberry > > > > > > on > > > > > > > > top > > > > > > > > > > for > > > > > > > > > > > a > > > > > > > > > > > > > little extra flavor and in her case > > > > > > > > > > > > > eye appeal.
