Guest guest
Caitlin, I'm so sorry your feeling low again. Sometimes I go and look in the mirror and give myself an affirmation. I tell myself I'm a good person, or even tell myself I'm pretty!! The affirmations do me well, maybe you could give it a try?! Trish

Hi Cathlin, I know my pain levels is rising also and Im beginning to really worry. MY doctor put me on Lexapro for the anxiety and depession. When I read your post about your little girl doing that it brought a big smile to my face!! What a blessing children are. Fran
Guest guest
> One time I posted affirmations all over the house, even my 6 yr. old was reading them She walked around saying " I love myself " , " I am strong and healthy " , " Everything I need will come to me " . LOL! Caitlin Caitlin, That's a wonderful idea. My pain psychologist told me to post notes around to correct posture, relax the muscles, and remember to breathe. (I forget to breathe or breathe too shallow when I'm involved with anything, it's silly.) It makes a big difference for me. I shall litter my apartment with post it notes with affirmations and reminders! I think my daughter would benefit from the affirmations as well. It's been harder on her these past few weeks that I've flared up, especially after seeing me get better for a while. She's been complaining constantly about aches and pains all over lately, and I'm wondering if it is because she sees me 'beaten down' all of the time. Nothing has been consistant, so her doctor has not been consulted regarding that. I'm interested in hearing how others talk to their young children about their condition. I'm afraid to tell her I'll get better someday and be wrong. I want to be positive, and realistic, but there are too many unknowns. Best wishes, Jackie

It's good to be positive influences I try to be a positive influence to our neice and nephews. Love, Becky in SD
