Guest guest
Not only did they vandalize and ruin the Halloween things--- we went to go buy security cameras and found the top for the Jeep had been slashed to ribbons and the windows cut out and taken away. ACK. It is gonna cost $1,000 to replace. Police lady was weird. She said she had seen the Jeep that way at midnite---(she was still on at 2 this afternoon) She said all last nite all over for a few blocks in all directions there was major vandalism.but ours is considered felony- except they are not going to pursue the offender- she said there is no way they can ever prove anyone did it. SHe said she wrote no tickets last nite cuz she just kept circling trying to catch whoever it was wreaking havoc on the neighborhood. The poor Jeep-----what a mess. - In , " dreamer_plus " <dreamer_plus@w...> wrote: > > LD (my 9 year old son) and hubby worked very hard yesterday. The brakes failed when it was a month old and it broadsided a truck.....grrrr. (hubby was driving, not me, he was not hurt, tho, noone was thank goodness, but the company that owned the truck sued over and above what insurance was paying out...) - In , " June Dixon " <juner24@r...> wrote: > This is terrible. Guest guest
I can empathize with you. When my parents cars were broke into (actually, they just opened the doors. they live in the country, so we didn't think we needed to lock up) they took the radio out of one car and nearly got to the other car. My dad heard something outside and grabbed his gun to check things out. The sherrif came out and took a report but said nothing can be done about it. Finger printing would be a wast of time. They said the same thing when the barn was broke into as well. They took a report but that was as far as they would go. What the heck are they supposed to be doing?!?! I watch CSI, they do a heck of a lot there!! It is frustrating, if not infureyating!! Best of luck to you!! Marina in Ohio
