Guest guest
Ummm.....we used to use turbo tax. Being a small business owner, we were Answering some of the questions totally incorrectly. My dad offered to do them when we moved and opened our own business (Steve was in a partnership before). He went back and re-did as many years as he could, and we ended up getting about $8k back from the IRS!!! They know the loopholes and can advise you on tips and tricks to save $$, something Turbo tax never did well. Can't say as to how much they cost, since we get the " family discount. " Pratt I'm with on this one. I am wondering what is the use of an accountant. It seems everyone tells me to get one but I can't figure out what they would do for me?! , are you missing out on something big? Guest guest
Ditto, similiar problems with H & R Block -- had to have redone by private accountant. Much more piece of mind knowing it's done right and I'm not over paying to pay the accountant. (and the private accountant cost much less than H & R too.)
