Guest guest
I do not know an inexpensive hyfrecator but you may consider Cantharidin Plus (cantharone) to treat common warts. I think Cantharidin is made from a S. American beetle and has worked well for my patients. It is available by prescription for physician use, costs under $100 and you can treat many patients with one vial. > > Does anyone know where I can get an inexpensive HYFRECATOR to use at > an orphange, El Refugio, in Honduras where I go to help couple of > times/ year? Guest guest
Keep in mind that using a hyfrecator on warts creates a plume of virus in the room. Although there is little risk to the patient as a 1 time dose multiple exposures to you can lead to warts in the larynx and, at worst, SCC of the throat. g To: practiceimprovement1 < > Sent: Sunday, March 4, 2012 12:42 PMSubject: HYFRECATOR Does anyone know where I can get an inexpensive HYFRECATOR to use atan orphange, El Refugio, in Honduras where I go to help couple oftimes/ year?
