Guest guest
I would like to welcome you to the group. I hope you get a dx soon, because it's very important. Are you seeing a rheumatologist, if not that would be my advice? > > > just recently diagnosed with arthritis...what form and or what type > still in the process of finding out... > it started with pain in both my arms and legs and now it seems to > just have gone to my legs > my joints dont bother me as much as my leg muscles/calf muscle hurts > constantly from mediocre to throbing pain it is very hard for me to > walk and lay and or sit ithe doc prescribed prednisone and vicodin > for pain the meds just take the edge/and throbing away but it is > there/pain constantly....... anyone having muscle pain like me ? Guest guest
I know exactly what you mean,my muscles and tendons give me so much pain, especially when the weather is changing and sometimes it throbs for hours. My Rheumy says it's part of the RA and fibro but that I am taking metho, plaquenil and pain medication and for now, it'll have to do. Sometimes a hot bath does me some good and for a while I went to the tanning bed, which really felt good. I use some ointments and when I have to, I take a muscle relaxer but that's my last resort, I hate 'em. So I'm holding out for a prescription for a sauna. --- In , " a68iou13 " <rocesvalle@m...> wrote: > > > just recently diagnosed with arthritis...> my joints dont bother me as much as my leg muscles/calf muscle hurts > constantly from mediocre to throbing pain it is very hard for me to > walk and lay and or sit ithe doc prescribed prednisone and vicodin > for pain the meds just take the edge/and throbing away but it is > there/pain constantly....... anyone having muscle pain like me ?
