Bonuses are illusory.

They are rarely high enough to matter.

This should not be a big factor -- have this doc ASK how much money in a % of paid fees they're stating.

Resident question on managed care bonus

" a lot of the places I am applying discuss "bonus includes keeping your managed care funds" at the end of a billing year. What does that means to a practice and how it changes the amount of "free" communication with patients (cell number, email, etc)."Since I have not signed a contract like this in over a decade I'm not sure whereto lead this young soul. . .Any thoughts?Pamela

forget about bonus, they are an ilusion.

I got a job that promised a bonus and they never gave it to me.

I requested it many times.

I have it in my contract with them, I do not know lawyers so I am firm believer of Karma.

you do me wrong today somebody else will cash my bill, I never worry about it.

Yes, took 2 years of phone calls to colleagues who I actually

loved for them to come up with my 20K bonus.

Amazing how doctors are willing to prey on each other!
