Guest guest
HI SUE, I JUST AM GETTING OVER A SEVERE CASE OF THE SHINGLES. I WAS SURPRISED TO READ ALL THE POSTS ON SHINGLES AND PERIPHERAL NEUROPATHY TODAY. I HAVE THEM, AND AGGRESSIVE RA AND FIBROMYLGIA. THE NEUROPATHY IS EXCRUCIATING......MY LIFE IS A REGULAR MESS. ALL OF THE DISEASES HIT ME AT ONE TIME TOGETHER, 2 YEARS AGO. I ALSO GAVE THE CHICKEN POX TO MY 24 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER WHO WAS HOME FROM COLLEGE FOR A VISIT. SHE WAS VERY ILL. I COULD REALLY HAVE DONE WITHOUT THIS WHOLE PAST MONTH. MY DOC SAID ALL OF THESE THESE ILLNESSES FALL INTO THE AUTO-IMMUNE CATAGORY, LUCKY US ! SINCERELY, CINDI
Guest guest
Hi, Cindi, I'm sorry that you're having such a hard time with the shingles. When I had it, my PCP treated it very aggressively, and I didn't have a hard time at all. I had heard that someone with shingles could give chicken pox to someone who hadn't had it. I hope you feel better soon. Sorry about the peripheral neuropathy. When I was diagnosed with diabetes, I had it in my toes. It gradually disappeared as I got my blood sugars under control. Hang in there, and here's hoping that things will improve. Sue On Sunday, October 24, 2004, at 12:06 PM, CINDI wrote: > > I JUST AM GETTING OVER A SEVERE CASE OF THE SHINGLES.
